Orangegas manages sustainable fuel pumps at petrol stations. In response to the growing demand for sustainable fuel, potential locations are being sought in Amsterdam for this new infrastructure. Zuidoostlob is an attractive possibility in light of the area's good links to the road network.The Zuidoostlob is the area between the Amstel trainstation and the AMC along the municipal border of Amsterdam.

The feasibility of various locations will be investigated during the research project. Spatial, technical and transportation aspects relating to the new infrastructure will also be examined.
The Amsterdam Investment Fund (AIF) supports the initiative to develop additional stations in the region, as well as the initiative in Zuidoost. The integration study is expected to be completed in 2014. If the development of a station in Zuidoost proves feasible, the initiative will be subject to the usual planning procedures.
