Using deep neural network to build intelligent intersections : In TrafficLink, the algorithm used in computer vision processing in SmartSense is DNN. The algorithm can identify the presence, location and movement of vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians in the SmartView 360 camera video stream.

Edge computing using SmartSense: SmartSense inserts computing power into intersections, so real-time decisions and operations take place at intersections. By extending the signal phase by starting SmartSense, pedestrians have more time to cross the intersection.
